Dr. Suzanne Kresta, P.Eng., past-president of the North American Mixing Forum, was granted the Excellence in Education Award by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). The award was presented on April 18 at the prestigious Summit Awards® Gala held at the TELUS Convention Centre in Calgary.

NAMF early career excellence award

This is the seventh Call for Applications for NAMF Early Career Excellence Award

The award is presented to new faculty who begin research careers in areas that will impact the general field of fluid mixing technology. Mixing is an emergent fundamental engineering science, particularly at the meso and micro scale, and one of the last unit operations to submit to formal academic study. Any untenured but tenure-track faculty member at a PhD granting institution in North America is eligible to apply.
